General Guidelines
We want you to receive the correct medications and products and understand your options if a problem occurs.
Please contact us before returning any item.
Do not mail or bring prescription medication back to the pharmacy without instructions from our pharmacist.
Prescription Medications
Prescription medications dispensed to a patient cannot generally be returned to pharmacy stock for resale. For patient safety, we do not accept prescription returns for resale.
Prescription purchases are generally final once picked up or delivered, except for pharmacy errors, defective products, recalls, or other circumstances requiring corrective action under applicable law.
If the Pharmacy Made an Error
If you believe you received the wrong medication, strength, quantity, label, or directions, contact the pharmacy immediately and speak with a pharmacist before using the medication.
We will investigate promptly. If we confirm a pharmacy error, we will arrange appropriate correction, replacement, or refund, and reverse or adjust the related insurance claim when appropriate.
An opened container does not prevent us from reviewing a pharmacy-error claim. Ordinary return deadlines do not limit our responsibility to address confirmed pharmacy errors or applicable patient rights.
If you experience a medical emergency, call 911.
Other Prescription Concerns
A refund is generally not available solely because:
- Your prescriber changes or discontinues therapy after dispensing.
- You dislike the medication's taste or flavor.
- The medication does not produce the expected result.
- You experience side effects unrelated to a dispensing error or product defect.
- You or your caregiver requested an incorrect refill.
- You no longer need the medication.
Your Responsibilities
Please inform the pharmacy promptly about changes to:
- Medications, doses, allergies, or treatment instructions.
- Your name, telephone number, or other contact information.
- Your delivery address.
- Your insurance coverage.
Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order.
- Retail orders may be canceled before fulfillment begins.
- Prescription cancellation requests will be reviewed based on whether the medication has been prepared, dispensed, picked up, or delivered.
- Custom-prepared medications, when offered, may not be eligible for cancellation once preparation begins.
- Once an order has shipped or been delivered, the applicable return rules apply.
OTC Medications, Vitamins, Supplements, and Retail Products
Eligible retail products may be returned within 30 days of purchase with a receipt or other proof of purchase.
Items must be:
- Unopened and unused.
- In their original packaging.
- Complete with intact seals, labels, and included accessories.
- In suitable condition for resale.
Items Generally Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns
Unless defective, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise covered by applicable law, we generally do not accept returns of:
- Prescription medications.
- Opened medications, vitamins, or supplements.
- Used personal care or hygiene products.
- Opened diagnostic tests or sterile medical supplies.
- Perishable food or beverages.
- Custom-prepared or special-order items identified as non-returnable before purchase.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us promptly if an item is damaged, incorrect, or missing.
Keep the product, packaging, receipt, and any available photographs so we can investigate.
If the issue resulted from our error, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund and cover reasonable return or redelivery costs when applicable.
Do not use medication that appears damaged, tampered with, or incorrectly labeled. Contact the pharmacist for instructions.
Delivery and Shipping
Customers must provide accurate delivery information and arrange timely receipt of their orders.
Problems involving an incorrect address, missed delivery, or a package left unattended will be reviewed individually. Additional delivery charges may apply when redelivery is needed because of customer-provided information or arrangements.
For approved change-of-mind returns, original shipping or delivery charges are generally nonrefundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping.
If we supplied the wrong item or caused the delivery error, we will cover applicable corrective delivery costs. Carrier loss or damage will be investigated, and we will explain the available resolution.
Return Authorization and Refunds
Please obtain authorization before sending a return. We will provide instructions and, where applicable, the return address.
Approved retail refunds will be processed after we receive and inspect the returned item. Prescription concerns may be resolved differently based on the pharmacist's assessment.
Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
Insurance-paid amounts will be handled through the appropriate insurance claim adjustment rather than refunded directly to the patient.
Pharmacist Review
Prescription concerns and exceptions are reviewed by the pharmacist-in-charge or designated pharmacist. Retail returns are reviewed under this policy by authorized staff.
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies required by applicable law.
